Bible Verse Activity Sheets

 

"Find the Verse" Activity Sheet

Children follow the grapevine and separate the letters into words to spell out the Bible verse. This activity sheet is available on The Resource Room for members only. It goes with the Bible lesson "I am The Vine."

Bible Mazes

1. Help the Raven Find Elijah Activity Sheet - Before print out the activity sheet. In class have your children try to find the path that leads to Elijah. This game is available to members only and goes along with the lesson, "Elijah and the Ravens" on The Resource Room.

 

Bible Search and Find

1. Ladybug Search and Find Activity and Color Sheet - See how many ladybugs you can find in the picture.

2. Job had 500 donkeys. Can you find the donkey that is different?Before the lesson discuss with your students how well they did on the test and if they passed the test.

 

3. Job's Second Test - Job had sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. How many sores can you count without crossing them out?

Activity Sheets

1. Helpful Ladybug Activity Sheet - children color the picture, but tell them not to color the spots on the ladybug. Help them write names of people they can help during the week on the spots of the ladybug. Tell them to color in the spot with the person's name on it that they helped when they have helped that person.

2. Job was tested by the devil to see if he would stay faithful to God. Have your children take a series of test to test their visual and manual dexterity skills. For the first test children have to draw a line from one picture of Job to the other without touching the lines on the picture. Before the lesson discuss with your students how well they did on the test and if they passed the test.

3. Cain and Abel Activity Sheet - Children glue the correct offerings to either Cain and Abel and then color the pictures.

1. Thanksgiving Mystery Message - "For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

The pilgrims didn’t have much, but God was with them and provided for their needs. To discover the mystery message circle every letter that has a picture under it of something that the pilgrims might have had. The circled letters will spell out a message.

Day Five and Day Six of Creation Activity Sheet

Children cut apart the pictures and decide which day of creation each animal was created on. They glue the pictures to the appropriate side of the activity sheet.

Bible Verse Picture Game

Print out the two patterns and tape them together so they look like the picture to the right. Glue the pictures to poster board or foam core board. Cover the entire picture with sticky notes and number them in order. In class have your children take turns answering a question from the lesson and picking a sticky note they want removed. Once you remove the sticky note, the child who answered the question gets to try to figure out the verse from the pictures and words that a revealed. Keep playing until someone can say the whole verse, or all the pictures are revealed. This verse is from the KJV except that I switched "Job" and "did not" to make it sound correct.
