Directions for Setting Background Wallpaper

Once you decide which wallpaper you would like, click on "Get Wallpaper" next to the image. The wallpaper will pop up on a new screen.

Place the arrow over the image and right-click on the image. A list of options will pop up. Pick "Set as Background." Then minimize this page to see your desktop display. You should see the new picture on your desktop.

 

Adjustments

If the picture doesn't fit properly, you can change the way it displays.

Window or XP

If you have Windows 2000 or XP, minimize this page and right-click on a blank spot on your desktop. A popup menu will appear. Click on "Proporties".

Click on the "Desktop tab".

If the picture is too big or too small set the "Position" to "Stretch to Fit". This setting will either stretch out your picture or shrink it to fit your screen.

If you have an odd-sized screen, you may want to experiment to see which setting, center or stretch to fit, is best for you.

Vista

If you have Vista, minimize this page and right-click on a blank spot on your desktop. A menu will appear. Click on "Personalize" and a popup window will appear. Click on "Desktop Background".

If the picture is too big or too small you can change the size of the picture. Click on the "Fit to Screen " icon which is the first small icon on the bottom of the page.

If you have an odd-sized screen, you may want to experiment to see which setting, center or fit to screen, is best for you.
