Sunday School Scrapbooking

Scrapbook Ideas to use for Sunday School

Scrapbook pages of your Sunday school lessons and activities are a great way to help your children review and remember what they have learned. It is also a great way to help shy children to open up. Children will love seeing pictures of themselves and talking about them.

You can also display the pages in your room to let parents know what your children have been doing and learning in class. This will also encourage your children to share what they have been learning with their parents. Make extra copies of the pictures for the parents of your students.

Older children will enjoy making their own scrapbook pages for each lesson. It is a great way to review the lessons and help them remember what they have learned. They can add talking bubbles and a short description of the lesson. If you use a digital camera, you can print out only the pictures you need for less than twenty cents a picture. You don't have to buy expensive stickers; children can just draw their own bubbles and use construction paper instead of scrapbooking paper.

God Sends Quail Scrapbook Page

God Sends Quail Scrapbook PageThis scrapbook page goes with the Sunday school lesson about Manna Again!

What I used:

1. Blue paper for the background and brown paper for the land. Rip the top edge to make it look like hills.

2. Orange paper for the quail. Print out the quail templates and use them to cut the quail shapes Quail Template (PDF Pattern). Glue the quail shapes randomly around the picture. Draw in eyes and the little feather sticking out of their heads.

3. Pictures of children playing the balloon games. Cut out the background and use the bigger picture at the bottom of the page and the smaller ones towards the center. You can also add word bubble and write things the kids might be thinking or saying. I wrote, "Wow! I caught one! and "I can do this with one hand."

4. Print out the Title with Memory Verse (PDF Pattern) onto transparency paper and glue it to the top of the page. If you don't have transparency paper, you can use the same color of paper cut to 8 1/2" x 11" in your printer.
