Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that the people would hate Jesus for no reason.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.” Psalm 69:4 (Fulfilled in John 15:25)

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that he would be betrayed by a friend.

“Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.” Psalm 41:9

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said he would come back to life.

“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said he would be a descendent of Kind David.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2 (Fulfilled in Luke 2:4-20)

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that he would heal the blind and deaf.

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.” Isaiah 35:5

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that he would heal the lame and those who could speak.

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” Isaiah 35: 5-6

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that there would be a man (John The Baptist) prepared the way for Jesus.

“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” ( Isaiah 40:3)

Wait like the Israelites had to wait.

The scriptures said that he would come riding on a donkey.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Zechariah 9:9
