Hen and Chicks Matchbox Craft and Review Game
Who’s hiding under the hen’s wings?
Children make an adorable hen from a 4" x 2 3/4" matchbox and tuck eight little chicks inside. Slide the box open and the hen’s legs and chicks suddenly appear!
Children can have fun taking the chicks out, arranging them, and putting them safely back under the hen’s wings.
You can also turn the chicks into a Bible review game. Write questions on their backs and let children pick a chick to answer, or write words from the Bible verse on the chicks and have children place them in the correct order.
It’s a fun little craft with a surprise inside—and a playful way to review the Bible lesson too!
