Use this activity when studying the desert biome. Children color the desert scene and attach the roadrunner's leg to make a roadrunner with moving legs picture.
Encourage children to add other desert flora and fauna to complete the desert biome picture. Ask them what other things roadrunners hunt and consume.
Have your students look up pictures of roadrunners on the Internet and color their roadrunners to look like real roadrunners.
