"I am the Light of the World" Display Craft with Mini Jesus Figurines
Based on John 8:12, this hands-on VBS craft helps children see how Jesus’ light shines in their lives every day.
This hands-on VBS craft is a wonderful way to help children understand and remember that Jesus is the Light of the World. With only a few simple supplies—cardstock, colored pencils, and Mini Jesus Figurines—students create a charming display that brings the lesson to life. When finished, children can take it home and place it in a visible spot, serving as a daily reminder of God’s light and goodness in their lives.

Jesus Paper Star Craft
Encourage your students to use their creativity to color and add their own designs to a star pattern, creating a unique 3-D star display that emphasizes who Jesus is.

Day 1 - Matthew 16:13-20 - Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
Day 2 - Matthew 3:13-17 - John Baptizes Jesus
John Baptizes Jesus Paper Cup Craft - Children color the picture of Jesus and John the Baptist in water, and then insert a blue craft stick into the cup and through the bottom. When they pull down the craft stick it will look like the Spirit of God desending like a dove!
Day 3 - Matthew 15:29-39 - Jesus Feeds the Four Thousand
Looking for a fun way to teach the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 at VBS? Try these easy crafts! Kids can make a little boy with a basket full of fish and bread, using fish crackers and oyster crackers for the food. Or, help them turn an envelope into a basket that can hold a Bible verse card and some paper fish and loaves. Want more ideas? Day 4 - Jesus Died and Rose Again (Mark 14 - 16)
“He Lives!” 3D Easter Display Craft for VBS – Children will enjoy creating this powerful 3D Calvary scene that tells the Easter story. Day 5 - Jesus is God's Plan for Forgiveness
Forgiveness Activity Sheet - Children color the picture and then glue heart-shaped mirror paper to the center to remind them that Jesus forgive them. This sheet comes in two different designs.
Jesus Makes Us Clean! Soap Cover Craft - Children color designs for soap covers and place soap in them to remind them of God's forgiveness.
Kaleidoscope Cup Craft
Children of all ages will enjoy creating this super easy kaleidoscope from two clear cups. The inside mirror is created by folding mirror paper into a triangle shape. Children can make their kaleidoscope unique by adding their own designs and writing the Bible verse to the outside of the folded mirror paper. "Jesus Lights Up My Life" Paper Cup Craft
Children will enjoy making sun shapes from yellow cups by cutting slits down the length of the cup and folding out the rays and glueing them to a sheet of paper.
